Riposte is a magazine and online platform for women. With the aim of profiling bold and fascinating women who challenge power structures and stereotypes, it features interviews— honest rather than being full of media-trained responses—essays and a broad range of issues including art, design, music, business, innovation, politics, social justice and environmental issues.

Issue 13 is dedicated to the theme of “Care” – because we could all do with some after the past 18+ months of chaos of pandemic. Many encounters in this issue: discussing sustainability, environmental justice and the importance of spiritual healing with Céline Semaan, founder of Slow Factory Foundation; exploring how turning trash into treasure is making us all re-evaluate the stuff we buy and ultimately throw away with designer Nicole McLaughlin; artist Cassi Namoda reflects on the power of saying no, creating strong boundaries and the importance of embracing the duality of life; academic and writer Katherine Angel talks to us about her book, ‘Tomorrow Sex Will Be Good Again’ and gets into why good sex is more than a question of consent.
