Brief Festival invited The Magazine Club to contribute to its new edition and we decided to make it in our own way, speaking about print magazines directly with their editors. Here’s the second Q&A, this one with Marc Sancho, art director of Barcelona-based magazine Perdiz.

Perdiz is a magazine about people and the things that make them happy. A compilation of amazing stories from common people. A survival manual without magic formulae. A collection of beautiful things. A publication of social activism with a positive tinge. A collectible object. It’s a game, a story with a happy ending. And it’s also a virus that, like yawning on the Tube and laughter between friends, is catching. Happiness is contagious!

“The stories' secret is Marta, I think she must have a special Google search engine, I don't know how she does it, but she is the key [...] Publications are not monothematic. Each issue does not go around a theme, at least not from an outside perspective, but it does for us”.
