Freelance writer, founder and editor-in-chief of Polpettas On Paper magazine
Margherita Visentini is an Italian writer and editor based in Madrid. She moved to Spain in 2010 following a degree in art history and a biannual master in contemporary art. She spent many years working in magazines and newspapers both on and offline, including L’Arena – Il Giornale di Verona, Cosmopolitan [Italian edition], Style by Condé Nast and Arte.it. In 2015 she founded the indie magazine Polpettas On Paper in which she conveys selected photographic essays and stories that matter about contemporary artists and creative minds. Her interviews with Stefan Sagmeister, Barnaba Fornasetti, Boris Charmatz, Rosella Postorino–among many others–have appeared in these publications. As freelance writer she collaborated with Spanish cultural institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Fundación Once, and she both took part and hosted panel discussions in festivals and cultural events. She’s the host of The Magazine Club’s talks and she takes care of the magazines selection.
