Gema Navarro studied graphic design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Madrid, and the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. In 2006, after stints at several small design studios, she joined Erretres, working with major clients like the Museo del Prado, KPMG, and Fundación Telefónica. In 2013, Gema founded Rifle, and worked with the likes of BBVA, ARCO, and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Specialising in editorial design, she’s provided art direction for several publications, including The Outpost (Beirut), Makeshift (NYC), OjodePez (Madrid), Vis À Vis (Madrid) or Salvaje (Málaga). Since 2018 she collaborates with the Ladies, Wine & Design events in Madrid and is part of the Madrid commission of the Adg-Fad.
